Lancaster W4191 took off from RAF Langar on December 21, 1942 at 5:32 PM. 207 Squadron was stationed at RAF Langar from September 1942 to October 1943.

In september 2016 bezochten wij RAF Langar. Op de foto links de verkeerstoren in 1978. Op de foto rechts de verkeerstoren in 2016, nu in gebruik bij Skydive Langar.

In het clubhuis van de parachutisten zijn interessante foto's te zien van Langar in de tweede wereldoorlog.
